We've all been there, you order something online, wait patiently for it to arrive, and lo and behold you open it up to find you don't love it as much as you remembered, causing you to question why on earth you ever clicked on it in the first place!
Although we hope this purchase regret will never happen with one of our products and that you will eternally love everything we make here at Hashtag House, we offer a 14 day money back guarantee from the time you receive your item just in case you have changed your mind since checkout.
If you do want to return an item, all you need to do is drop us an email, within those 14 days, at email@example.com and let us know that you would like to return it.
It needs to come back to us unused and in the same condition that you received it and then if everything looks ok when we get it back we'll sort out returning your money to you via the same payment method that you used to order.
If, despite our best packing efforts, the product is damaged when you receive it email us at firstname.lastname@example.org we will happily replace it for a new one or refund you the full cost.
Unfortunately, we can only refund the cost of the return postage if the item was damaged when you received it, we can't refund the postage of items returned as part of the 14 day 'cooling off' period.

Our returns policy lasts 14 days. If 14 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund or exchange.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it.
To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.
There are certain situations where a refund will be rejected:
* Any item that is not in its original condition, damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error.
* If the item still hasn't been returned to us within 30 days of us receiving your return request (the request for a return must still be made within the 14 day cooling off period).
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.
Late or missing refunds
If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.
Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.
Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

Only regular priced items may be refunded, unfortunately sale items cannot be refunded.

If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be mailed to you.
If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver and they will find out about your return.

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of the original shipping will be deducted from your refund.
Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.
If you are shipping an item over £50, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
